Summer Bash!

The Summer Bash was a SMASHING hit!!

We started the morning with muffins, pastries, and treats generously donated by the Great Harvest Bread Company.

From 10:00-12:00, card players tried their hands at poker, roulette, black jack, and BINGO. The 6 players with the most tickets chose from the Grand Prizes (such as a Denver Nuggets autograph pennant, pedicure/massages, and Comedy Works Tickets)

At Noon everyone made their way outside, finding a seat in the shade or some chose to soak up the sun. The weather could not have been more perfect!

Staff and volunteers dished up a delicious lunch of hamburgers, chips, coleslaw, baked beans, and juicy watermelon!

Next up was The Shakes Band. Wow, these guys really rocked!! They played everything from John Mellencamp to Katy Perry. The Shakes really got everyone up to dance, laugh, and have a great time!
