These pictures were taken during Specials Week Aug 31-Sept3. Back by popular demand, we had a karaoke day and a Murder Mystery. This semester's Murder Mystery was called "Death in St James Park" and was set in England during World War II. Turns out, Shin "The Man in Charge" was the murderer!

Welcome Interns!

My name is Nicholas Ho. I am a student intern from the University of New Hampshire. My focus is Therapeutic Recreation. I have one more semester left before I graduate and take my NCTRC exam. By default, I am both a Red Sox and Patriots fan. I have a twin brother who is identical, but not as handsome. I've worked with persons with disabilities for the past 3 years and look forward to working with the staff here at KADEP.

Hi my name is Lindsay Brooks. I just finished working at a summer camp in the Boundary Waters in MN. It was a challenging blast, and I now have plenty of camp songs up my sleeves. I finished my schooling at the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse studying Recreation Therapy with a minor in Psychology. Yes, I am a Packer and Badger fan. I enjoy swimming, biking, and running, and have done a few triathlons and a marathon. My passion is helping others, and I can’t wait to spend more time getting to know the people at KADEP!

Samantha Schmitz-

I initially attended the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse with an interest in the health care field (specifically Physical Therapy) and to play basketball for the Eagles. My academic path took many meaningful detours on the way that lead me to declare my undergrad: Therapeutic Recreation. My goal as a TR major was to continue my educational journey focusing primarily on physical rehabilitation. The Rocky Mountain MS Center was highly recommended by my supervisor as the “go to spot”! I promptly scheduled an interview with Donna and excitedly accepted a position as an Intern with the energetic KADEP team. Not soon after my acceptance, my aunt was diagnosed with MS, and am now more thankful than ever to be a part of the team.

Model Making Group

Chris's model making group assembled, glued, painted, and put together these beautiful models throughout the last 16 week semester.
