Makena's Farewell

Last week we said goodbye to our program director Makena, We will miss her sassy attitude and her smile every morning. Makena started out as in intern at KADEP and was hired on after. She will now be a High School Special Education teacher closer to her home and will be able to spend more time with her beautiful daughter Evelyn. We will still see her around as she promises to visit often. Thank you so much Makena for all the wonderful years you gave to KADEP. We appreciate your dedication and all your hard work, it never went unnoticed, Not goodbye but see you later.
