KADEP celebrated Octoberfest on Tuesday, Oct 23rd!  We dressed in our German garb, danced, ate, and drank.  Thank you to the Paintball Group who donated their time and supplies so we could try our hand at target shooting.  Thank you to our volunteer, Susan and her group for making all the crafty decorations, and thanks to all the staff and participants who helped make Octoberfest super fun!

Welcome KADEP Staff Member, Makena

"I grew up in Lafayette, CO. I attended Colorado State University for four years and graduated with a degree in Health and Exercise Science.  Then I attended Metro State University of Denver to study Therapeutic Recreation.  I completed my internship summer of 2012 at KADEP and luckily for me the internship turned into a job!  I am so happy I found a job that I look forward to coming to everyday. It is really the clients that make this an enjoyable place to be.  Outside of work I enjoy bike riding, swimming, and hiking."
Welcome Makena!

Home Depot Volunteers

Thank You Home Depot Volunteers!

Thank you for painting the front entrance, doorjambs and doors, and the ladies bathroom.  There were 13 volunteers from "Team Depot".  They came with painting supplies and all of the paint was donated by Glidden Paint.  KADEP is thrilled to continue this Community Partnerships with Home Depot!    The work was done on Sunday the 23rd of September from 8-2 pm. KADEP provided them with pizza and drinks.

Special thanks to Building Manager, Gary Wagner, for your hard work, time and for setting up  this collaboration with Home Depot!

What a great looking group of volunteers.  We look forward to working with you more int he future!
