Holiday Party

Our holiday party is Wednesday December 14th. We will have a live band and food to celebrate the holidays. Families are invited to join our holiday party and it will start at 1:30 in the afternoon. We hope to see you all here to celebrate the holidays with us.

Makena's Farewell

Last week we said goodbye to our program director Makena, We will miss her sassy attitude and her smile every morning. Makena started out as in intern at KADEP and was hired on after. She will now be a High School Special Education teacher closer to her home and will be able to spend more time with her beautiful daughter Evelyn. We will still see her around as she promises to visit often. Thank you so much Makena for all the wonderful years you gave to KADEP. We appreciate your dedication and all your hard work, it never went unnoticed, Not goodbye but see you later.

Summer Bash

Sailing

A few weeks ago a couple of KADEP clients went sailing. KADEP is planning to do more sailing trips throughout the summer so that all clients that are interested, can have an opportunity to go. Look out for sign up sheets located at the front desk area.

Wendy's Farewell

Last Friday we said goodbye to Wendy. Wendy was with KADEP for 4 years and she was KADEP's LPN. She was loved by all the clients and will be greatly missed. Wendy will now be working at The Denver Sheriff  Department, we wish her the best of luck with her new job and look forward to her coming back to visit. Thank you Wendy for all your hard work and dedication to KADEP for the last four years, we love you.  

HCBS Settings Individual and Family Survey

Dear Clients and Family members,

The state of Colorado is asking participants of day programs to complete a survey as we work toward state wide compliance with new Medicaid rules. Only those of you who attend via Medicaid or receive Medicaid services need to complete the survey. There are two ways to do so.

1.       Use the following link https://www.research.net/s/ColoradoHCBS

2.       Complete a paper copy and return it to the state. If you want the paper copy we have them at the front desk.

Regardless of the method used please identify KADEP’s address in the survey.

Spring Education Summit

Join us for a series of presentations and discussions with leading minds in the care and treatment of multiple sclerosis at the Rocky Mountain MS Center Spring Education Summit.

We will have three keynote presenters discussing maximizing lifelong brain health in MS, Immunology, and the Latest in MS Research. After the keynotes, we will have panel discussion on MS and fatigue.

SPECIAL'S WEEK

Claire's Farwell

Claire's last day was last friday.  Claire was our special events coordinator and she did an amazing job. We wish her the best of luck with her new job back home in Indiana.  She will keep us updated on her new job and hopefully will come visit whenever she is in town. Thank you Claire for everything, especially all the fun special events you planned for KADEP. We will miss you very much!

Prom 2016

Prom 2016 was a huge success all the clients had a blast singing and taking pictures with one another. We would like to give a special shout out to PASCO for sponsoring Prom 2016! Thank you so much it made our event even better. 

Pandas & People

A couple weeks back we had a great performance put on by Pandas & People. Some clients that stayed until the end of their performance even got cd's from the band. Thank you so much Pandas & People for coming out to KADEP and putting on a wonderful performance! St. Patrick's Celebration

We celebrated St. Patrick's day with a special event, we had an irish dance performance. All the clients really enjoyed the performance and some joined in on the dancing as well.
