Summer Semester

The upcoming summer semester runs May 11-August 28th.

Our program director, Ginny, along with other programming staff, has begun submitting group ideas for the summer semester.

If you have any group ideas or suggestions for the upcoming semester, NOW is your chance to submit an idea to Ginny. wagner@mscenter.org

Also, we are always looking for volunteers in the community to assist with our therapeutic groups.

The campers survived the blizzard!

The 12 KADEP campers made it back from Colorado Springs on Friday afternoon.

Thank you staff members: Chris, Heather, Marti, Danielle, and Lee!!! Everyone had a great time and made the best of their time regardless of the weather

Including one as a friend at a crisis is the true test.

Everybody needs friends.

No body can exist without a friend.

Do try to make up a friendship.

Sing alot even if you can not sound good to others.

Have alot of relationships.

Camping Trip March 25-27

KADEP campers will be heading to Golden Bell this Wednesday!

12 campers are going along with staff members Chris, Heather, and interns, Lee, Marti and Danielle.

Heather's community Laughter Yoga class is cancelled because she will be on the camping trip.

Bruce Richter's Stand-Up Performance

KADEP's very own Bruce Richter will be performing in "Showtime at the Rawls!"

Bruce has been taking acting classes at the Community College of Denver.

Bruce will be performing a Stand-Up Comedy Act.

2009 Paperwork

Attention KADEP participants:

The annual 2009 paperwork is due March 17, 2009. Only about half of the participants have all their paperwork completed and turned in.
If you are unsure if your paperwork is complete, please talk to Sharon sjohnston@mscenter.org OR your care coordinator at KADEP.

It is EXTREMELY important we have up to date medical information for each participant.
Participants with incomplete paperwork will be ineligible to go on community outings, (including bowling, hydrotherapy, pool hall, RTD etc)

We appreciate your cooperation! :)

KADEP Food Drive Donations!

KADEP is collecting non-perishable food items, hygiene & toiletry items, and baby items for a local food bank.

• Michelle's "KADEP Connections" class has been collecting items all semester and will be donating them in April.

KADEP's Honky Tonk Murder Mystery

KADEP's Honky Tonk Murder Mystery was a hit! The Murder Mystery took place on Tuesday. The clients used their investigative skills to solve the Murder Mystery! Gary (Rev. Jim Bob Eternity) was found guilty of the murder at Bubba's Bar. Also, many participants sang karaoke throughout the day as part "Bubba's Bar Scene."

Valentine's Day

Friday Feb 13th KADEP held it's First Ever Dating Game hosted by TC. We had two bachelors and two bachelorettes. Each contestant interviewed three members of the opposite sex.
A good, family friendly time was had by all, and the winners had a romantic lunch on Friday Feb 20th.
