Four-legged Medicine Helps Children Be Children Again

Check out the link below to see KADEP staffperson, Chris Dunbar, his wife and dog in a 9News story. It’s about YAPS, or Youth and Pet Survivors, a program that pairs children battling cancer with dogs and cats facing the same challenge. They communicate as pen-pals and share life experiences.
