This summer 10 campers and 5 staff headed down to experience and adventure with the Adaptive Sports Center of Crested Butte! We went tent camping for two nights at Elk Creek campground just next to the Blue Mesa Reservoir and spent a full day rafting down the Taylor River in whitewater rafts and kayaks! While the water levels were low we still experienced some raging whitewater at the kayak park and we covered a total of about 13 miles overall. After our two night trip we headed back into Denver for a little well deserved R&R…thank you Campers and the Adaptive Sports Center for working as a team to make this such a wonderful trip!
Thank you to KADEP camping coordinator, Amanda!
