Team KADEP completed their goal of climbing Mt. Bierstadt on Saturday! The team consisted of 19 members ranging in age from 12- 64 years old and one dog.
We got up at 3:30 am and arrived at the trailhead at 6:00 am, where we met most of our team. Team KADEP consisted mainly of KADEP co workers and their significant others or friends. For most of the team, it was their first 14er. It was a 7.8 mile round trip hike with about a 2,500 feet elevation change from top to bottom. The views were breath-taking! It was challenging, but we all made it to the top and met our goal! A special thank you to Ginny and Gary for providing a campground site for a BBQ lunch after the hike.

We are raising money for the Rocky Mountain MS Center's program, "Multiple Summits 4 MS". Other teams have raised money and are climbing different peaks throughout the month of August.
