Crestone Acres and Pony Express made a visit to KADEP yesterday afternoon from Longmont, Colorado. The animal handlers, Joseph and Patrick, brought these special animals to us after making contact with Kasey, the KADEP Intern, who is specializing in Animal Assisted Therapy.
We got to pet and spend time with 2 baby sheep, 4 baby goats, a pot belly pig, a chicken, a duck, a camel, a mini horse, a trick POny, a baby highland cow, a burrow, a bunny, an alpaca, and a llama.
This was a wonderful and therapeutic experience for us all- Thank you for visiting KADEP!
