King Adult Day Enrichment Program (KADEP)

Come Thrive With Us!

KADEP is a life-affirming day program for people with multiple sclerosis (MS), brain injury and other acquired neurological conditions. Our mission is to promote the functioning, wellness, independence and life enjoyment of younger adults, ages 18-65, with neurological challenges.

Participants may choose from more than 65 weekly exercise, recreational, educational and personal development groups and outings. KADEP also offers plenty of opportunities for socializing and exploring personal interests.

Providing weekday respite to caregivers, KADEP serves more than 170 participants and their families each week. Founded in 1991, KADEP is a program of the Rocky Mountain MS Center.

Meet Becky Muelemans, TR Intern

Hello everyone! I’m a new intern from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse. I’ve lived in Wisconsin my whole life until now, but thrilled to be exploring Colorado. So far I love KADEP and think that the program, participants, and staff are fantastic. It’s wonderful getting to know everyone and am so glad I made the right choice for my internship in Therapeutic Recreation.  I love camping, hiking, skiing, rollerblading, reading, playing board and card games, and spending time with family and friends. I am always game for trying new things and love adventures! I’m looking forward to the rest of the semester at KADEP and can already tell it will be hard to say goodbye.
