Alaska Trip

Free Fishing Trip to Alaska
Paradox Sports has two scholarships available for a week-long trip to Alaska during this summer. While there you will:

 * Fly in a floatplane into a remote Alaskan river

* Raft through some of the best wilderness salmon fishing the world has to offer

* Work with a river guide who has had 35 years of wilderness guiding experience in the region (you can check out his website at www.wildriverfish.com)

To learn more about what the trips are like please visit: http://www.paradoxsports.org/progams/wild-river-fish/
So who can go? You need to be able to:

*Love to fish and it is helpful if you are interested in flyfishing (they can teach you how; all that is required is a willingness and desire)

*You need to embrace the concept of an adventure in a wilderness setting. It might be raining and windy. You might have to hunker down for a day or two to wait out a storm and there are always mosquitoes.

*You have to be willing to help around camp to whatever ability you can

*You need to be reasonably self-sufficient in terms of transfers, bathroom issues, and getting in and out of tents, etc.

They have 2 slots open for 2 people with disabilities and 2 companions. They will completely cover the cost, including airfare, for the disabled participant and they’ll cover the Alaskan costs for the companion, if needed.

Please call Paradox Sports to learn more at (303) 500-3316 or visit their website at:
